DO I QUALIFY ?

Purchased New Home/Condo

If you purchased a brand new home or condo from a builder in the past 2 years, you are qualified for an HST Rebate of up to $30,000.

Investors who purchased a home or condo unit as investment properties or rental properties are not eligible for this rebate. They are however, eligible for a rebate under the HST Rental Rebate program and still qualify for up to $30,000 in HST rebates from the federal and provincial governments in Canada.

Don’t delay! The rebates must be filed within two years of a new home or condo closing

Built/Renovated your Home

Homeowners who have built a brand new home or addition to an existing home, or those who have renovated 90% an existing home, may qualify for the New Housing Rebate worth thousands of dollars. The New Housing Rebate is applicable on some of the provincial portion of HST paid.

Don’t delay! The rebates must be filed within two years from the date of completion of the renovation or construction.
